CHARACTER COUNTS
This nationwide partnership of over 470 non-profit organizations improves the character of today’s youth. Local schools and youth organizations such as the YMCA, Boys & Girls Club and Jr. Lifeguards participate in this worthwhile program. For more information call (949)361-8368.

Forums have included the following topics: affordable housing and homeless needs, innovations in mentat health care, elder abuse, youth safety, transportation needs, adoption and foster care resources, and employment opportunities for the underemployed. TRAUMA INTERVENTION PROGRAMS, INC (TIP)
(TIP) is looking for caring people willing to be part of a team of citizen volunteers trained to provide emotional and practical support to the victims of traumatic events. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY. These modern-day Good Samaritans will be called to emergency scenes by emergency response personnel to:
Provide emotional and practical support to those who have been robbed, burglarized, or assaulted.
Comfort families after the death or sudden illness of a loved one.
Help disoriented older persons.
Support survivors of a suicide.
Help emotionally traumatized victims of accidents.
Help those emotionally shaken by any crisis event.
